Soundwire is an application that lets you stream audio from your PC to your Android phone. Soundwire works sort of like a remote desktop vierwer in reverse. Soundwire even mute the volume when you get a call. Soundwire can even be used to listen to the soundtrack of a movie or YouTube video while you watch. Soundwire relies a lot on your Wi – Fi so make sure you have a strong signal anywhere you take your system or Android. To use your Amdroid phone speaker as PC speakers, First of all you need to download and install Soundwire Android app on your Android phone from Google Play Store. After completing this step, you need to download and install Soundwire server for your Windows PC.
After installing both the softwares you need to run Soundwire server on your system and Soundwire app on your Android phone. After that connect your Android phone and your system on a same Wi – Fi network. To connect Android phone with your system you need to enter Soundwire server address in your Soundwire Android app. After entering server address tap on the Soundwire app icon. Now, you can play any song in windows media player or any other media player on your system and listen them on your Android speakers. Soundwire Server( version 1.6) consumes just 851 KB of your vital hard disk.
Soundwire server works on Windows XP and Windows 7. Soundwire Android app works on those android phones which have android version 1.5 and above.
Soundwire server is available for free to download. Soundwire Android has two versions which are free version and full version. Free version is available for free while full version is available for $4.
